I have another book review for you all today.
This time it's from an author named Leigh Bardugo
This book is in a series collection, consisting of Batman, Superman and even Catwoman.
Wonder Woman is the first of the collection and I am so very grateful I got the opportunity to read this novel front to back.
You must take into consideration that this is a fan-based novel. It isn't the origins but rather Leigh's take on Wonder Woman. With that aside, the novel is a must-read and a hard-to-even-put-down-because-every-chapter-just-sucks-you-right-in. lol

I was a bit skeptical about reading this novel, only because I love Wonder Woman as she already is and I have read some fan-fictions before that really made me loathe ever trying to read anything fan-related again; So, I was a bit iffy about reading this book.
Allow me to first say that as a DC and Wonder Woman lover--THIS WAS PHENOMENAL.
The way the writer really brought her to life in her own unique way.
Making her much more than some Amazon with crazy powers--she is a voice, a heart and the determined warrior princess.
I really loved the overall atmosphere of the book.
It really painted a picture that not only sold me as something worthy of DC but really captured my interest long enough for me to finish this book in just time.
I couldn't put it down.
It was one of those books that had me on edge and flipping over and over, anxious to read the next section at each and every turn.
With the book contents out of the way, allow me to talk about the overall book appearance and presentation.
The book is beautiful. The cover is gorgeous, with a holographic feel on the front that captures the princess to a "T".
When you remove the cover, the book itself is a beautiful blue matte color with the insides being that lovely bright red. With the "W" gracefully etched on the front, it really screams "WONDER WOMAN" even without mentioning a name.
Another thing that really made me interested in making this selection was the fact that only a few first copies of these collector series will be including a poster of the character.
I flipped to try to find it right when I received it and I was impressed with the art the poster shows.
The style and even the concept was just my cup of tea.
I really loved it, from story to display.
As a book collector and lover, this is going straight into my DC and Marvel collection right beside the vintage comics of Wonder Woman I have started to collect.
I am proud to own this and I am sure you will be, too.
I highly recommend and approve.
Check the book out HERE!
xoxo
