OBAGI CLINICAL--Kinetin+ Hydrating Cream & Vitamin C Eye Brightener (ONE WEEK TESTING)

Influenster sent me this whole box full of Obagi goodies for the sake of this review! 

I was given this gift for free from Influenster, in exchange for my honest opinion.
So for the sake of this review, I tested it not only on myself but on my mother. 

I am 28 years of age, so my results will cater towards people in that age group while my mother is 50+ and catered towards more of the advanced aging group.
I just wanted to get an all around better source of result than just putting cream to my own face. Everyone is different and skin tends to act different on different people.

I've never heard of this brand, but I am very excited to test these products out!

I couldn't wait to rip into my packages and test these out.
So, I brought my mother along for the ride~ 

Kinetin+ Hydrating Cream

First thing I noticed was how it felt on the skin. For me, I have a bad case of dry skin.
My mother more towards combination/oily. For her it felt greasy and a little too oily
but for myself, it sucked the product right up. lol

After a few days of using it, I started to see an extreme difference in the overall appearance of my skin. I noticed a few parts I was purposely targeting being reduced so much.
I have several dry patches on my cheeks and forehead.
They instantly left after the one week of trial.
This cream brought out my radiance and restored the 'glow' back into my face.

 I also feel my skin being so much more softer, so much more moisturized. 

Something that has been hard for me, since I suffer from a mild case of eczema.
I've tried all types of different products, ranging from drug store to other. All with different key components and 'special' ingredients but none has worked in such a short time with such amazing results as this stuff has for me.

Before any product was put on our skin, I decided to snap a few images to show the process.
This is me. My skin. I've always had issues with large pores and dryness, as I mentioned.
I also have a hugeeee wrinkle over my forehead that I am hoping these products will help with.
My goal out of this test is to find a product that helps with my premature wrinkling and dryness. 

This beautiful woman is my mom. I asked if she wanted to tag along for the ride and she said she would love to.
She has oily/combo skin. These are her before images. Age around the eyes, some mature wrinkling.
Her goal is to see any results with wrinkles and aging. 

As I've said, I have a prominent wrinkle above my brows, has been there for a while.
I don't know if this product helped in reducing it (since this is more about moisturizing the skin than reducing wrinkles!) but I've noticed the wrinkle fade over the few days of my using this cream. Maybe hydrating the crease helped to get rid of it? I am not entirely sure but the results speak for themselves. 

After a whole week of using the products nonstop, this is my result.
I can see extreme changes in my skin texture and overall appearance.
It's so much softer, so much supple. The little wrinkle above my brow even faded some.
I also have controlled my dryness, which can be see with the way my skin reflects the sunlight.
Just overall beautiful results. 

My mom said it was much too oily for her skin type.
Made her secrete much too much. But I don't know, I think it did wonders for her, too.
Aging skin needs more moisture, so I think if she keeps using it, it will help in the long run but it's her face, not mine.

Kinetin+ Vitamin C Eye Brightener

The bottle itself was a lot smaller in contrast to the Obagi Hydrating Cream
but I assume that is because it was meant for one person
instead of a shared duo between me and my mom.

But even so, it was a lot of product even shared.

Instantly, I noticed how cooling it felt as soon as I applied it to my eyes.
It wasn't sticky nor did it feel greasy during the rest of my day.

I do, however, have to state that you MUST keep it away from your eyes completely.
Target the skin AROUND your eyes but try to keep it out if you can.
I ended up getting a little on my tear duct and it made my eyes bloodshot for a long long time.

It left but it did sting a little, something worth noting.
I learned my lesson and now apply it very lightly.

It states to apply one pump either in the morning or evening--so, I stuck to morning, because it's refreshing enough to wake me up.
Me and my mom have been using this for roughly one whole week.
Despite the week not giving this product enough time to 'work it's magic' I have to say that I've noticed quite a few things on both of us.

The crows feet, the fine lines I've noticed around my eyes. The discoloration.
All of that has reduced and blurred so much.
My moms eyes and the eye bags under her eyes really reduced, as well.

Everything looks so much more softer--the wrinkles, everything.

All in all, a lovely product that I am so thrilled to include into my daily routine.
Cooling, refreshing and really holds up to the namesake of being an 'eye brightener!'

Again, I can see the fading and softening of them in the after.

Overall, I am very honored to have gotten this experience.

I will keep the routine going with my mother until we reach the bottom of the bottles.
I will update as soon as anything else happens or occurs.
And if, at the end of the experience, any new drastic changes to our skin has taken affect.

One thing I have to say about the Moisturizing cream--it says to ONLY use one/two pumps daily.
I have had to use two pumps per target. So for my face entirely--two pumps. My neck--two pumps.
Maybe it's because my skin is sooooo dry but it has been working in this way for me.

I really love the products, personally. Even my mom is loving them, despite her oil comment. lol
As I mentioned, I will continue this experience until the bottles run on empty and update with that but for now--for the one week of usage--I am content.
