Reviv Serums "The Ultimate Serum" Review | 2 Weeks Use Results

A while back I was among the selected to test & try out a product from a brand called Reviv Serums. I spent the next 2 and a half weeks diving deep into this product to really give a proper review. I think we should skip the casualties and dive headfirst into this brand. So I ask; Do you believe in the fountain of youth?

ABOUT THE BRAND 

Reviv Serums was created with us in mind. High prices, exclusive products that could only be sold if you "knew a man who knew a man." Serums that are promoted by doctors--being sold under praises at being "expensive with a purpose" is why Reviv Serums decided it was time to step up to the plate. Majority of the ingredients listed under these high-end brands aren't even worth the money they claim. The vast majority of these serums/creams aren't even that innovative of a product to begin with. Reviv Serums takes these ingredient concoctions & creates products with a better purpose. Sometimes using much more than the average serum would normally contain thus making their products powerhouses compared to the others...and for far cheaper prices than you'd find on the market.

PACKAGING:

As someone who reviews quite frequently, I am more interested in how a product actually works than how a product is packaged/sent but i will acknowledge the extra effort when I see it fit.

Companies like Reviv Serums really hold a special place in my heart when they package their products in a way that demonstrates pride & confidence. To say it was beautifully put together would be an understatement.

The box, down to the bubblewrapped protection really proved that this is a company who stands by their product & aren't afraid to show it.

MY EXPERIENCE

I used this cream daily, 2x a day (morning/night) for 2 and a half weeks. The product was very easy to use, you just follow the directions included or on the bottle itself. You have to invert & tap on the lid with your palm but I also found that lightly tapping one side of the nozzle and doing the same to the other side gave me the perfect amount every time.

You need a thin layer and that's it. It's safe for the upper eyelid bone, as well. I used it all over my face, neck, chest and tops of my hands but for the sake of this review, I was mostly targeting my face and eye area. I suffer from a very prominent brow wrinkle that has gotten worse with age. I have tried almost every cream on the market but nothing has ever made it fade. So, I wanted to see if I could sense a change in that along with some light crows feet and frown lines.

The cream is two separate colors from the two different chambers--a creamy white and a gel-like milky yellow. When mixed together, they transform into an off-white antique cream. The scent is not really there but you'd definitely have to try to smell it to pick anything up. Someone mentioned it smells of 'Chicken Broth' but I didn't really catch it. To me, it smells like a slight creamy herbal fragrance. Dare I say, cream of mushroom soup? Just less fungi, I guess. Lol The consistency is thin, light and absorbs very quick into my skin without being overly greasy.

What I noticed first was the feel. After the initial dry-down--my skin became comfortably taunt & it had this shine I never seen from a serum before. It wasn't extreme but enough to notice something was working. I noticed the texture above all else, my skin felt smoothe & soft. Very moisturizing, too. It also had a warmth to it. I almost mistook it as a tingle but it wasn't constant, just a warm pulse that faded than came again until about 5 mins in.

I will say that my skin had a dull tackiness to it. Not greasy or sticky, just tacky to the fingertips. I then applied a few taps to my eyelids and crows feet. Trying to keep it away from my eyes, but it was gentle enough to cause no serious burning.

Usually with serums that are targeting anti-aging benefits with "instant" results...I usually notice some form of irritation or burning. Nothing was felt.

1 WEEK OF USE:

In short, I didn't notice any notable difference during this week. My face did seem a bit more red, compared to the first day. Nothing intense but my face took to this serum a bit like I do when I use retinol. With red spots here & there. No itchiness or anything, same warmth but nothing else. The frown line above my brows looks a little less deep, I will admit. Like it relaxed.

My skin was a lil itchy. Especially around my wrinkles--frown lines and forehead, the places I were targeting the most. The lines around my mouth was the itchiest! I took into consideration that I might have been mixing this serum with other products that resulted in my itchiness--so, I stopped all other products during the next few days of this review. It did clear up and stop.

2 WEEK OF USE:

The photos definitely show results. My skin doesn't have so much texture and my brow frown line is almost nonexistent. Since I only used this serum after my cleaning, I didn't really need anything else to be quite honest. I thought I'd be screaming for my moisturizers but this serum actually kept my skin very hydrated and moisturized.

Since I've used this for a while now, I can tell my skin is liking the product. It took very quick & transformed my skin in a way I can't even fathom real. It just *feels* improved. Especially around my eyes and forehead.

ENDING WORD:

I have to say that during my test trial here, I have found the Fountain of Youth. This cream did something for my skin I have only thought was possible in dreams. (Or through expensive means I couldn't afford on my own! Lol)

What I really love about this product is that if you're new to the world of skincare & unsure what serum to include in your routine--this is the ONLY one you'd need. It has a ton of benefits, tons of important ingredients & it's all in one simple bottle. I wish i found this sooner, when I was in my 20s or teens. I could only imagine the work it would have done for me back then! Lol

But alas, I am content in the results I've seen right now. The best thing about this 2 week showdown is that I still have some product left in my bottle. I will update when I run on empty, so I can see how long it took to finish the thing.
