Poweradd EnergyCell 10000 Portable Charger Review

I received this as a *surprise* gift. I didn't even expect the package, in truth but thought I'd put this baby to the test. As a cosplayer and someone who is always on-the-go, I was extremely hooked by the concept of a portable charger. I've heard about them but never had the chance to use one, so please bare with me my excitement. hahaa

The first thing I noticed about this charger was the compacted size. It fit nicely into my palm without being troublesome. The sleek design made it look rather pretty in my hands, too. And since it was so small--I could easily store it into my purse with ease.

Meaning--I could take it with me on vacation, to work, with friends, out to cosplay conventions, etc. The charger is designed to be quite effective stored in your pocket, as well. Actually, I can see myself keeping it in my pocket just as much as I would a purse. Something to mention for those who don't really use purses, to prove that it's great for pretty much everyone!

Another key part of this little device is how lightweight it really is. A little heavier than a cellphone but not much heaiver than a cup of coffee, in my opinion. 

The packaging was neat. The tool was inserted into a wrapper all it's own, for safe keeping. Alongside the tool, you also got a micro USB charging cord (good for charging the actual device!), a user manual detailed with many different translations other than english and a safe keeping dust-bag to store the device when not in use.

I have a Samsung S9, and it worked perfectly for my phone! 

Assembly was easy, pretty much plug in one end to another end. That's it! lol

I had a 30% charge left on my cell phone and it took around 1 whole hour to fully charge my device to 100% That is absolutely phenomenal. It usually takes my phone around 3 hours to get to 100% using the factory USB that came with my phone.

Another amazing feature is the indication lights on the device. The "power" button you long-press to turn on the tool will shine the amount of "charge" by displaying how many "levels" it has left. 1 bar is equal to about 20% charge. 2 being 50%. 3 being 75% and 4 the full 100% That makes it so easy for me to know when and If I need to recharge the portable charger!

All in all, a great product for very cheap!
