BOOK REVIEW: The Tunnels by Greg Mitchell
Hello ladies and gentlemen,
I have another book review for you all.
I am a lover of all sorts of information--currently my obsessions have been governmental conspiracies and behind-the-scene plots about certain selected groups.

I am a lover of all sorts of information--currently my obsessions have been governmental conspiracies and behind-the-scene plots about certain selected groups.
I seen this book called
The Tunnels (Escape Under The Berlin Wall And The Historic Films The JFK White House Tried To Kill)
I was assuming that this read would venture into the topics that were hidden and away from the public eye in regards to both the JFK and Berlin matters and I was correct with this read.
It's full of information, with black and white photo inserts to add depth into the book.
It's designed in a "time stamp" sort of way, that dates each entry rather than just going about the book like a memoir or novel.
It's an excellent sort of information about the Berlin Wall and the many attempts to conquer it.
It's about those who dug the tunnels, who put their lives at stake to help others.
The true heroes of the time.

I will admit, about midway through the book I lost interest and just skipped to some other factual detail that stole my eye.
It is so detailed and factual that you will often opt to read certain sections over others rather than read the whole.
It can drag on and on, which made me want to skip ahead a little.
I would have loved to see more information about those who survived, their memories or something along those lines but if you happen to enjoy a bold point-blank take on history, then this book is for you.
I highly recommend everyone read this, it's a part of history that should not be forgotten.
