CHISELL Product Testing & Showcase | ALOTTA REVIEWS

MAILCALL: I received a package in the mail today. |
Nothing looks more sexier than a chiseled jawline accentuating high cheekbones and a well defined décolletage. Personally for myself, the skin around my neck and jawline just isn't as taunt as it once was as a young adult. Primarily because I have never really exercised the area, nor could I, with the lack of equipment that is accessible today...that is, until now:
CHISELL is, as their website claims;
"The most convenient tool to exercise jaw muscles."

Each device comes in their own little tin box. |
Quite honestly, I was a bit scared to try CHISELL. Mostly because the website and a few of their reviews were all based on and around men wanting extremely square faces. While I just want a bit of a more defined jawline, my brother wants a wider, more spread-out face--so, he will help me in reviewing this to it's justified means.

I got two pairs of each--my brother was using one of his "Tough Bites" when I was taking my product shots. lol |
I was given two different sets--
The "Regular Bite" and the "Tough Bite."
I will, of course, update on here the results sporadically until I am satisfied or unsatisfied as the weeks carry on.
My brother has just started his exercising routine this week, so his results will be posted in the following update but for now--here is what I think from my experience:

I really love the assorted tins. |
As a woman who has always been called "Baby Face" ever since she can remember--having something that will bring out my jaw is god-sent. I can't stress how important it is for me to finally have found something that will accentuate the jawline and make it more "square" rather than the round pie face I have been cursed with. lol
A more jaunt face, to me, just looks better. Nothing against the ladies who love their round faces--I just personally don't think mine looks good on me. I have grown weary of people pinching my cheeks and calling me their "baby."

Look at the design. |
I took to my tool pretty quickly. Despite the inserts and step-by-step instructions (which were very detailed with little illustrations!) It was extremely easy to use and to care for. Self explanatory, even.
I followed everything, as instructed. Cleaned the tool, did my jaw stretches beforehand, placed the tool into my mouth, worked on my jaw for 5 minutes on and off, then took them out to clean again before placing back into their nifty little tin.

Pretty simple to use. |
What I noticed right away, after the 5 minutes of chewing up and down, was that my jaw became pretty sore. Not enough to cause any pain of any kind but enough to show me that the tool actually did what it claimed it was supposed to do. I even felt spasms from muscles I didn't even know I had. lol

I kept playing around with the positioning. |
Quite honestly, this has got to be one of the most amazing things I have run crossed in my entire life. I did this routine, as instructed, for a solid week until I decided to post now. I even took before and after images to prove that it works, even in such a small timeframe.
Now, I know that the website claims that this is more for targeting the actual muscle in your jaw. That this is by no means something to help you loose face fat or give you cheekbones but I personally beg to differ, even just slightly. I noticed from the side-by-side comparison that my saggy neck and chin area was lifted a bit. I don't know if it's because the muscle might be using the stored fat to burn energy? Like working out stomach muscles help to loose stomach fat by burning the fat as fuel, which in turn, helps to expose a six-pact underneath? I am not entirely sure but an obvious change in my jawline, which obviously was not there when I first took the images, proves that it is chiseling out what I have. Strange but awesome at the same time.

I want to note that my face looks so different after 1 week. Very subtle differences but I definitely can see it.

I can definitely see some definition going on here. Very happy so far!

Each tin comes with full detailed instructions. |
Now, I do have some things to note about this product.
The chewing factor reminds me of chewing gum but do not let that fool you. While gum chewing might help you achieve a good proper jawline, it will take YEARS to achieve what this tool can do in a solid month.

A product to hand comparison. |
I must say that the little holes in the device, when you start chewing on them, create a sort of "suction cup" effect that draws in your cheeks and tongue. At least, it did for me. Nothing extreme, of course. Very tolerable but still something to note. I had to hold my tongue to the roof of my mouth a bit, while I did my exercises and blow my cheeks out when I released the chew.
And as easy as it was to use--I did find that the little nubs liked to shift around in my mouth a bit. I had to keep fixing them between bites in order to properly sit between my teeth. Maybe it's because I have a few back teeth missing, due to having to wear a partial bottom plate but it is something else to note.
I was a little scared that I'd suck them into my mouth and accidentally swallow them. The resistance and the feeling of them springing back up made me think that. hahaa I think I just have a problem with putting things in the back of my mouth--you can ask the doctor that takes my xrays for my teeth. It always scares me to put those little plastic guards between my teeth in order to get the xray's done, too. lol

Here you see some of the instructions. Fully detailed and laid out for people to read with ease. |

Tough Bite: Not Recommended for Beginners | Resistance 210lb (95kg) | Low Range of Motion
Regular Bite: Fairly Challenging & Very Effective | Resistance 150lb (70kg) | Medium Range of Motion

I actually went from trying to use it properly in the back, to moving the tool a bit closer to my canine teeth to target the muscles there, as well. (Also, I don't have any frontal missing teeth, so I could grasp it better this way!)
I would love to see, one day, this company create a sort of full mouth guard device. Something that might target the whole jaw--front and back. In the same material and using the same techniques. Have it resemble that of a football mouth-guard and chomp down on it as a whole.
I'd believe that this might feel a little more better to chew on without a fear of swallowing. Also, it might help those of us who have missing teeth be able to target every inch without the device falling into the cavity of our jaw. Since the device would be bigger, they could charge more, of course.
Just a thought, really.
I love what this product has to offer. I really do and I'd love to see them expand more for everyone.

Thanks CHISELL, for the opportunity to test out your products! |
All in all, this is a great product that certainly lives up to the namesake.
So far, from the week i've been using it, it has done exactly what I know will help my jawline.
If you are interested in making a purchase, you can find CHISELL HERE!
I will update, as promised, when I hit another week or so.
The next post will be of my brothers experience and what he liked/disliked.
Until then, I'll see you...in another review~
xoxo
