LGUIY "Dinosaur World Inspired Puzzle Blocks" Review/Showcase

I was given these toys for free, so my review is going to be quite honest in terms of quality and the overall design of them.

There is a lot to say, so I will narrow it down in a listing formation. Starting with the packaging.

-PACKAGING-
It came inside a Lego off-branded box. Meaning--It gave the appearance of Lego without using the name. Personally, a great sales concept, especially to a child. They will see this, feel "familiar" with the box and want it. No going around that. I am very certain that if you put this box next to a real LEGO box, have a little kid walk down the store aisle--they will probably think it's from the same brand and scream to have it just the same. lol

-WHAT I LOVED MOST-
What I loved most about this box set of 8 toys was that they came individually wrapped. As a toy loving tot growing up, this is a huge plus for me. As a kid, I loved the thrill of ripping into stuff. Any sort of stuff, as long as I could rip into it. This made it tons of fun for me to pull out and assemble, so I can only assume a child will feel the same exact way--maybe even moreso.

-ASSEMBLY-
I do have to include that they are a bit hectic to put together. You have to really put some "force" into snapping the components into place. Took some elbow grease, for sure. But when you finally get them on, you can be sure they will NOT be snapping off. I actually put on the lower jaw bone wrong, on one of my dinosaurs and ended up having to pry it off to reassemble with my metal pliers--but even so, It took some effort, a lot of effort. Too much effort. hahaa

-WHAT I DISLIKED-
Aside from the hectic assemblage, I did find that the lower jaw for the Pteranodon wouldn't go on at all. Even right now, as I am typing this review, it is hanging by a thread just waiting to fall completely off. I followed the directions, did exactly as I was shown but it still "pushes" out of socket. No matter how much you push it into place, it still "pops" out. So, I guess I will have to permanently glue it on. [I included some photos of the lower jaw bone for reference in the photoset.] Also, the contraption that holds the wings on likes to pop off from time to time. I found myself having to constantly push it back on, every time I played with it.

The lower jaw not properly going inside the socket.

It keeps popping out, no matter how much I push it back inside.

This is what I meant when I said that the wings keep falling off.

The whole Dino crew.

Another thing to point out, there is NO instructions--just very tiny reference photos on the actual box of how it "should" be assembled. I'm talking tiny--I had to pull out my glasses to read them. But honestly, it's just ABC when it came to putting them together. You can't go wrong with Lego pieces, right?

-BEST FEATURE-
I would have to say that the best thing about these toys, aside from the individual packaging, would be that most of the Dinosaurs can move their mouth, rotate their heads from side to side and move their limbs. I really love the moving mouths, gives life to the toys.

Also, the brand states that they are LEGO friendly.

-OVERALL-
I would say this would be great for kids ages 8 and up. Even adults who happen to still love toys. [like myself.] but please be cautious if you happen to get this for a younger child, the small parts can easily be choked on if swallowed. Aside from all that, they are great little toys. I'm going to be making a Dino inspired Terrarium using mine and gifting it to one of my friends who has a son that LOVES Dinos!

Here are some more images I didn't include in the above review, just for reference and your viewing pleasures. Enjoy.

All my dinos are awesome!
Thanks for reading and viewing.
