BOOK REVIEW: "How to Be a Perfect Christian: Your Comprehensive Guide to Flawless Spiritual Living" by The Babylon Bee

Today's book is rather satire in terms of reading--which is something I personally love and adore above all else. 

With so many problems in this day and age--religion has always been one that either works for you or works against you. 

I have gotten into so many verbal fights with people of opposing faiths because I choose to respect and acknowledge everyone, equally--be them one faith or the other. 

For some reason, people take that concept of "open faith" as a means to jump the gun and try to "save you." It's really silly, to say the least.

So, when I seen this book
"How To Be A Perfect Christian: Your Comprehensive Guide To Flawless Spiritual Living"
I knew I had to read this one. 

Not only do I agree with the vast majority of what is written, because I have seen and witnessed people of this structure in my life--but I also love to have a good laugh at things.
So, it's a win-win situation for me taking up and reviewing this book. 

I will admit, when I first seen the book--without reading the inside notes or the back panel, I thought it was going to be another one of those best selling pastor books that people LOVE to write and ask for donations over. I thought the guy on the cover was some pastor wanting to promote his "word of god" through text format but how I was sorely mistaken upon a quick glimpse into the book and what it was officially about. lol

The Babylon Bee did an amazing job with capturing the dark essence of some modern day "Christian saints" with quick wit and extremely gut-busting humor that will leave you crying from laughter after turning the page. 

There is a "Holiness Progress Meter" that will let you keep track of your "Holier than thou" lifestyle as you ascend each page until you reach the ending where it puts you close to gods hot-seat. lol

Not trying to spoil the read at all but it's one that will have you laughing and wanting to read more. 

It's in the format of a guide, so it gives key points and funny check-lists.
From "Definite Proof That America Is God's Chosen People" to "End Of Times Checklist".
So much goofy antics throughout the book that made me fall in love with it over and over again because I have had the sad experience of meeting certain people that this book jokes about.
(sad but true!)

All in all, I highly recommend this read.
Move aside the pride and ego for a second and take up this book to not only joke about some issues within the Christian Community but people could use this as a way to NOT behave, because 9 times out of 10 people can't look beyond their own forest.
